what is hyperloop?
hyperloop is a high-speed transport system in which passengers sit in a pressurized capsule operates in a sealed near vacuum environment the sealed near vacuum environment the propulsion system is still to be chosen from a no of option two of which are magnetic levitation or air pressure.
ELON MUSK proposes this idea which is known as the fifth mode of transport HYPERLOOP. so far we have been using trains, cars, plane, boat and technically rockets.

Medhurst wrote a book detailing his idea of transporting passengers and goods through airtight tubes using air propulsion .the first hyperloop transport system was the crystal palace, pneumatic railways . This operated by three tunnels in London in 1864 by powered by steam engine .
The line actually operated successfully for a year before it was close down .
current progress
Hyperloop One, the Los-Angeles-based company developing the technology, is gearing up to send a 28-foot-long (8.5 meter-long) pod gliding across a set of tracks in a test run in Nevada
Hyperloop in Indian
Richard Branson's Virgin One has signed an agreement with the Maharashtra government to build a Hyperloop that will cut the travel time between Mumbai and pune to 25 min from the 3 hours it now takes by road.
Virgin Hyperloop One Chairman stated in a press release.
While key details such as the total cost of the project and an exact timeline of launch are yet to be finalised, it will take some time before Hyperloop as a transportation comes to India. According to a report in The Hindu Business Lineclaims it will take at least three years to complete the test run and about six years to kick-start commercial operations. It’s being claimed that the cost of building a hyperloop is much less than building a high-speed railway line for the same distance.
